STUDENT LOCKERS
Starting Tuesday, August 26th after 3 pm, you can print out your locker assignment notification, go to student tools and click on the locker link. Students who choose to use their locker must submit the signed notification letter and fee in an envelope to room 209 during the first week of school. Combinations are emailed to you within 48 hours. Since your stuyhs email will no longer exist, please login to "student tools" for your contact email account information.

GIRLS VARSITY BOWLING TEAM
An interest meeting for the Girls' Varsity Bowling Team will be held on Monday September 8th After 10th Period in room 513. Medical and parent consent forms will be given out, which are required in order to try out. Any questions see Coach Bologna in the pool office or email him at pbologn@schools.nyc.gov.

GIRLS VARSITY GOLF TEAM
The Girls Varsity Golf Team will have an interest meeting on Wednesday, September 3 and tryouts on Friday, September 5 at 4:00 p.m. (location to be determined). CLASS OF ’09 YEARBOOK PHOTO APPOINTMENTS
Seniors be on the lookout for yearbook portrait appointment notices. These will be mailed to your house during the week of August 25th. The notices will be addressed: "To the Parents of …", so please do not think it is junk mail. The return address will list Thornton Studio as the sender. Portraits will begin on Monday, September 8th and run through Friday, September 12th. The photos will be taken in school on the first floor near the rear of the theater. (Ping Pong Alley.)

JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES ONLY GO ONLINE TO SELECT YOUR LOCKER
Starting today, August 19th till Friday, August 22nd, 3 pm, Juniors and Sophomores may select their locker online for next year 2008-2009. Go to student tools and click on the locker link. Juniors and Sophomores who do not wish to participate will be randomly assigned a locker.

BOYS FENCING TEAM
The Boys Fencing Team will hold tryouts starting on the 1st day of classes (September 2nd) after 10th period in the 6th floor gym. REGENTS GRADES ON REPORT CARDS
Due to New York State Department of Education scheduling, regent grades for the following courses will not appear on report cards but will be available online beginning Monday, June 30, 2008. The courses are Mandarin, Spanish, Korean, Latin, German and Physics.
